Our Australian Tawny shows the classic caramel treacle colour of a tawny style.

The Devil Tawny is predominately a blend of Shiraz and Grenache with a small amount of sweet Muscat blended in for perfume and complexity. The average age of the resultant blend is 20 years old. The Devil is deliciously rich and ethereal. The nose is brimming with roasted almonds and marzipan characters. The palate has the typical rancio characters evident from prolonged oak maturation and is supported by luscious flavours of boiled fruit cake and aged spices.

Ruby Ports are a blend of young, vibrant wines from different harvests. They are kept for an average of two to three years in oak vats before they are blended, fined and bottled ready to enjoy. Cockburn's Fine Ruby is a full-bodied Port with ripe red-fruit flavours, balanced with a fine structure. Perfect at the end of a dinner or simply to enjoy with good friends on relaxed occasions.

Tawny Ports are a blend of young wines from various harvests, are kept for an average of two to three years in casks. Cockburn's Special Reserve was originally introduced in 1969 as the first great Reserve Port, creating an entirely new Port category that was fundamental to the success of Port and the Douro over the following decades. Cockburn's Special Reserve is a very fine wine selected for its richness and concentration, from the finest vineyards in the Upper Douro and matured in oak casks for five years. This longer wood ageing gives its fruity and full-bodied palate a distinctive dry finish, making Cockburn's Special Reserve the benchmark for all Reserve Ports.

This 10 Year Old Port is smooth, well balanced and mature and is ready for drinking now. Dow's 10 Years Old Tawny has a bright tawny colour. On the nose brimming with aromas of candied fruit and toffee, beautifully combined with some mature ripe fruit. On the palate vibrant nutty flavours, perfect balance and with a lovely long finish.

Dow's Tawny is a very fine and delicate style, with pretty red fruits balanced by nutty depth derived from an average of three years aging in small oak casks. Owned by the historic and also very modern Symington family stable of Ports, the Dow's has both pedigree and sheer quality on its side.

Fonseca Tawny spends three years ageing in small wooden casks, generally holding about 630 litres. As it matures in cask, Tawny Port gradually loses the deep red 'ruby' colour of youth and takes on the seductive amber hue known as 'tawny'.

One of the best kept secrets in Australia. Galway Pipe was named after the governor of South Australia from 1914-1920, Sir Henry Galway. He would visit the winery and select the finest 'pipes' (500 Litre barrels) of Grand Tawny. This Grand Tawny is aged in oak barrels for an average of 12 years, and is an exquisite and rich blend of character filled varieties. Notes of dark dried fruit, raisins, dried pears, grilled nuts and spicy, toasty oak. Sweetness and acidity perfectly balanced.

This wine is fine deep tawny colour, with complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. On the palate, rich mature fruit flavours, beautifully mellowed and a luscious long finish. Taste slightly chilled to appreciate the full complexity and sensuous pleasure of this wine.
